BudLight is one of the world’s most-popular light beers. Anheuser-Busch recognized the light beer category was becoming crowded and wanted to differentiate the brand.
With the challenge of elevating the BudLight brand, we focused on a simple concept - "We’re not just selling beer. We’re selling a brand experience and tribe appeal". The strategy involved creating a new visual system and engaging interactive experience that appealed to different demographics, created a tribe affinity and merchandising opportunities unique to bars, boutiques, box and department stores alike—yet maintaining a cohesive and extensible retail brand strategy for the parent Budweiser brand.
